Green tea could keep your gum and teeth healthy
More over 400 years, green tea is very popular as a nutritious beverage for Asians. Recently in The Journal of Periodontology, researchers found that consuming green tea regularly can improve the health of teeth and gum. Green tea can reduce the symptoms of periodontal disease (inflammatory diseases) that affects the gum and chronic tissue dental buffer, which is concerned with the development of other diseases, heart disease and diabetes.
Green tea contains the antioxidant catechin. These antioxidants improve periodontal health and disease away.
“The periodontal believe that maintaining healthy gums is essential to maintaining a healthy body,” said Dr. David Cochran DDS PhD, President of the AAP and Chair of the Department of Periodontics, University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.
So, do not forget to drink green tea regularly! never late or disease come.
